Gordon Loop became Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in November of 2012.
Gordon grew up in Yonkers, New York and was saved at age 24. He soon realized that he wanted to serve the Lord and decided to attend the Word of Life Bible Institute for two years. After he graduated, he continued to have a burden for lost people leading him to join an evangelist ministry called Open Air Campaigners in the Boston area, where he served for 12 years and met his wife, Beth-Eden.
Gordon and Beth-Eden felt the Lord leading them to serve Him in the local church. Given this, Gordon pursued a seminary degree and graduated in May 2009 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies. After graduation, he served as pastor at New Life Community church in Fayetteville, NC. He is currently working towards a Masters degree in Biblical Counseling.
Gordon and Beth-Eden have three children: Micayla, Justin, and Wesley.
