The mission of Calvary Baptist Church is to go into the world, starting in Dedham, and make disciples by declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Spirit; gathering these disciples together so that we worship the Lord, obey his commands, and be conformed to the image of Christ to the glory of God the Father.

The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and are inerrant, infallible, preserved, given by God and are the final authority for faith and life. They should be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning.
There is one triune God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each co-eternal, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory.
The Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death and shed blood on the cross as our substitutionary sacrifice and that our justification is made sure by His resurrection from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, where He fulfills the ministry of Intercessor and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; He is the supernatural agent in salvation, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. He assists believers to understand the Scriptures..
God is sovereign in the bestowal of spiritual gifts to every believer. God uses evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip believers in the church in order that they can do the work of the ministry.
Humanity was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God. Man is unable to remedy his lost condition through his own efforts.
Salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Once saved, believers are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever.
